Questions & Answers

What is the parking situation at the ceremony and reception?

1

At the church, free parking is widely available both on the street and in the church-owned surface lot across the street. If there is snow on the wedding day, be sure to follow all street parking signage.

The reception venue has a parking lot that is free for guests of our wedding. We encourage you to plan a safe ride home.

How do I get to the reception?

2

From the church, take a left on Summit Avenue and follow it all the way to Kellogg Blvd. Turn right and the History Center will be on your left.

Be prepared for slight traffic delays due to winter weather and sporting events taking place in downtown Saint Paul.

Is my boyfriend/child/dog invited?

3

Your invitation envelope will list your guests. If you’ve forgotten, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Children are welcome at our wedding and reception. Dogs should stay home. :)

What is the dress code?

At our welcome drinks event, we invite you to wear cocktail attire. This is the time to wear shorter dresses, fun suits or sport coats, and festive fabrics.

The wedding and ceremony are black tie optional. Men may choose to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. We suggest women wear a full-length dress or suit in a formal fabric.

We do not anticipate being outdoors for any events or photos.

The venues will have coat checks. Please don’t freeze!

May I take photos?

During the ceremony, our photographer will be working hard to capture every moment. Please leave your phone or camera in your bag.

We invite you to consider further joining us in leaving your phone tucked away at the reception so we can all celebrate together without distraction. When the Wild win, we will let you know!

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?

6

Certainly! It’s important to us that everyone has a wonderful meal regardless of your restrictions. While we likely know of your dietary restrictions already, please inform us with your RSVP so we can be sure to pass it along to our caterer.

Can I visit the museum exhibits during the reception?

7

Museum exhibits will be closed during the reception. Parties don’t mix well with irreplaceable historical artifacts. :) However, all guests of our wedding may visit the History Center free of charge on Saturday 10 am-4 pm.
